Disney World’s Reopening Will Include a “Social Distancing Squad”

When Disney World reopens their theme parks, a new team of Cast Members will be encouraging social distancing amongst guests.

We may know as soon as tomorrow when Disney World is planning on reopening their parks. They will present their reopening plans to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force on May 27, which will include a proposed reopening date.

UPDATED! NEWS: Universal Orlando Will Be Proposing a Reopening Date and Plans Tomorrow!

On May 21st, Orlando theme parks including Disney World will submit presentations to Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings on how they plan on reopening safely. One of the required components of these presentations is a proposed opening date.

The Possibility of a “Health Ambassador” at Large Theme Parks Discussed at Today’s Florida Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force Meeting

The full Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force met today to discuss updates amongst the four working groups, in addition to updates provided by health physicians. In these discussions, we learned about some of the work done between the health physicians and Universal ahead of CityWalk's opening on May 14.
