Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs has received the Design Built Award of Merit from the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The AIA Awards Gala honored the best of architectural design in Central Florida at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, April 23. As one of Florida's most prestigious and inclusive honors in exemplary design, the award celebrates the newly opened restaurant alongside celebrated architects, designers and key industry professionals both theoretical and built projects.

CHEF MORIMOTO INTRODUCES CHEF YUHI FUJINAGA AS EXECUTIVE CHEF FOR MORIMOTO ASIA AT DISNEY SPRINGS

Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Patina Restaurant Group have named Yuhi Fujinaga as executive chef of Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs. Chef Yuhi now oversees the day-to-day culinary operations at the pan-Asian restaurant. Previously, Chef Yuhi was executive chef at Patina Restaurant Group's New York City-based Sea Grill. Known for his modern cooking style, Chef Yuhi draws inspiration from his Japanese heritage and upbringing in Hawaii, where he learned to cook from his grandmother.
