Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels to Offer Extra Magic Hour, More in 2018

Guests of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels in Central Florida, beginning with stays on January 1, 2018, and continuing throughout 2018, will enjoy an Extra Magic Hours benefit at Walt Disney World Theme Parks, with valid theme park admission. In addition, beginning Jan. 10, guests at these hotels will be able to link their reservations to My Disney Experience, if certain conditions are met.

New Cirque du Soleil Show in Development for Disney Springs

Earlier this year, Disney announced that La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil would be taking its final bow at Disney Springs on New Year's Eve 2018. As the curtain closes on this fan favorite, it's fitting that we share some exciting news about the future of the long-lasting relationship between Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Nearly 20 years after teaming up to bring La Nouba to the stage, the two entertainment companies are working together on a new collaboration.

New Details for Terralina Crafted Italian, Coming to Disney Springs in Early 2018

The Levy Restaurant group, which debuted Paddlefish, a seafood-centric signature restaurant located in the heart of Disney Springs earlier this year, will soon unveil their newest venue: Terralina Crafted Italian, expected to transport guests to "la dolce vita," (the sweet life) essence of the spectacular Lake District of Northern Italy. The restaurant was originally to open in Fall 2017, but has been delayed until Spring 2018.

The Edison Grand Opening New Year’s Eve

The Edison at Disney Springs will host its Grand Opening on New Year's Eve. The Edison's doors will open at 7:30 p.m., allowing guests time to eat, drink and be merry, right up through a special midnight toast to ring in 2018. Tickets for The Edison's New Year's Eve Grand Opening are $150 and available to a limited number (350) of guests. The ticket price includes tray-passed hors d'oeuvres, live-action food stations and a wide selection of beer, wine and premium spirits from 8 p.m until midnight; plus, a selection of coffee, desserts and a celebratory midnight toast to ring in the new year. When the Edison opens for regular business, it will feature multiple themed areas, such as the Lab performance space, The Ember Parlour, Telegraph Lounge, The Patent Office, The Tesla Lounge, The Radio Room, and the Waterfront Patio. It will be open 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday-Saturday. After 9 p.m., you must be at least 21 years old to enter The Edison. The Edison offers discounts for Disney Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, Tables in Wonderland cardholders and Disney cast members.
