Menus at Warming Hut

Although the adult beverage prices are a little steeper than we'd like, they were good. Our go-to treat is their ice cream, and their coffee. I like that there are eating options at many different locations, and am very glad to see that they have healthier options at Lotta Watta Lodge. Service was sometimes a bit slow in March 2018, when we were there last. Maybe they didn't have enough staff. Although this is unrelated to counter service, I was happy to find a water-proof phone pouch on a lanyard, at the souvenir shop, as I'd forgotten mine. And reasonably priced, too.
Pros:
healthier choicesCons:

Recently they reworked the menus. I personally loved the empanadas at the Warming Hut, but the new beef and chicken rice bowls are very good. My three year old ate it up. The veggies that come in the bowl are broccoli, carrots, red peppers, celery and onions. It feels like a bit more healthier options now, instead of the typical burgers/nuggets/fries water park grub.
Pros:
convenience, bit more varietyCons:
it's high price quick serviceReviewed by aknlw2003 Review Date: 09/03/2015

Ate lunch at the Lottawatta Lodge during our recent trip. My daughter was celebrating her birthday, and the order taker noticed and gave her a small cup of the frozen drink with a Mickey straw. Made her super happy, and was such a nice gesture!
I ate the salad which was fresh and healthy, and my kids at the nuggets. Food here was much better than Typhoon Lagoon in my opinion.
We chose to forego desserts for bottles of water on the DDP. I love this new option, because I have wasted many desserts over the years simply not wanting them, but ordering them b/c they are included!
Pros:
Super nice to my daughter on her bday!Cons:

A staple for the family is the sugar covered mini donuts. Used to be they didn't take the room card, but that's changed with the MB.
A new treat is a bacon sprinkled brownie sundae. How can you go wrong with bacon?
Pros:
All venues take the Majic Band!Cons:

Spent the day here Thurs May 16. Last day of vacation for my daughter (33) and I. We were on a late night flight so decided to try out Blizzard Beach (since Typhoon Lagoon had been closed suddenly for a refurb). Really, really enjoyed this water park, in fact more than we like Typhoon Lagoon. Lots of great rides and the bobbing wave pool is much better than the tidal waves at TL. Only down side (and why a 9 not a 10) is the tubes that they let people use in the wave pool. I think Disney should rope off at least one area where those not using a tube could enjoy the waves. Some people using the “free†tubes lack consideration for those that aren’t. Other than that, this is a great place to spend a day. Loved Team Boat Springs. When you get to the top – what a view!
