Beginning this week, gardening enthusiasts can experience a special guided tour during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Horticulturalists lead visitors on a walking journey through every country in World Showcase during the Gardens of the World Tour. This is the 20th year for the tour, which is only offered to the general public during the festival. I was among the guests on the first tour of this season.

Tumble Monkeys

Catch their high-flying, bouncing, Timon-carrying act at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The fellas, uh, monkeys, are my favorite part of the show. They’re just so darn…cute in their…fitting…outfits. New IBM THINK exhibition at Epcot is difficult for young kids to understand or appreciate
Posted onIBM put a lot of thought into creating its new THINK exhibition in Innoventions West at Epcot. Unfortunately, the company thought more about presenting information than it did about entertaining young guests. Oz-themed play structures open early for Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
Posted onDisney World decided to preview the area along Imagination Walkway in an effort to promote the movie, which hits theaters on March 8. Follow the yellow brick road and pass under the Oz arch near Showcase Plaza and you will spot the downed hot-air balloon on the left, indicating you are approaching the play area. (An area to the right of the walkway in past years has housed detailed sand sculptures related to a current Disney movie. This year, guests will find the Water Wise Garden presented by RainBird located there.)
