New Rapunzel-themed restrooms open at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom
Posted onAnother new Disney Princess section has quietly opened at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom this past weekend, and it's certainly a place where a girl can let down her hair and relax. Guests who pass through the area certainly will feel as if they stepped into the pages of Tangled, the Disney story of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
HGTV’s Chris Lambton at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

New to this year's festival is HGTV star Chris Lambton from Going Yard. In each episode, professional landscaper Chris Lambton transforms a neglected backyard into a beautiful outdoor family space, suitable for entertaining.

Re-Discovering America: Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection
Posted onFriday, March 8, marked the grand opening of the newest exhibit to be housed in Epcot's American Heritage Gallery -- "Re-Discovering America: Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection."
This exhibit of rare African-American art, documents, books and other artifacts from the personal collection of philanthropists Bernard and Shirley Kinsey will be on display in the gallery for the next three years. The current exhibit, which consists of about 40 items, is only a fraction of the approximately 300 pieces that the Kinseys have gathered over the past 30 years. Every six months, the exhibit will be refreshed with different pieces.

Gardens of the World Tour returns during Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
Posted onBeginning this week, gardening enthusiasts can experience a special guided tour during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Horticulturalists lead visitors on a walking journey through every country in World Showcase during the Gardens of the World Tour. This is the 20th year for the tour, which is only offered to the general public during the festival. I was among the guests on the first tour of this season.
Staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Posted onAs you enter Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, the high ceiling of the lobby is a feast for your eyes. The Earth tones of the wood and decor instantly sooth your being. You see the three story tall windows which look out over Arusha Rock and African savanna beyond. You will even spy a "rope" bridge crossing high overhead.
