Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin Born at Discovery Cove
Posted onA male dolphin calf was born at Discovery Cove in Orlando Monday, February 25, at 10:05 pm. The calf now weighs approximately 44 pounds and is 44 inches long. He is nursing and bonding with his mom, Kendall, both a good indication that the calf is doing well. This is Kendall's fourth birth and the 26th dolphin born at Discovery Cove since the park opened in 2000.

Among the anniversarys being celebrated were the Walt Disney Company's formation 90 years ago; Mickey and Minnie Mouse's 85th birthday; Saludos Amigos' 70th; Peter Pan's 60th; Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room's 50th; Tokyo Disneyland, Disney Channel, New Fantasyland at Disneyland, and Horizon's 30th; Who Framed Roger Rabbit's 25th; Nightmare Before Christmas' 20th; and Animal Kingdom's 15th.
Where Art and History Intersect: Epcot Welcomes the Kinsey Collection
Posted onGuests to the American Adventure pavilion at Epcot will journey "between the pages" of history as the American Heritage Gallery opens its doors to an art exhibit representing over 400 years of African-American achievement and contribution.
"Re-Discovering America: Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection," which opens March 8, draws from an extensive collection of rare art, documents, books and artifacts amassed by philanthropists Bernard and Shirley Kinsey, who share a passion for African-American history.
Raglan Road Celebrates ‘Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival’ March 14-17

Live Irish music, dance and authentic cuisine by Irish celebrity chef Kevin Dundon headline a spirited long weekend dubbed the Mighty St. Patrick's Festival.
Guests ready to "get their green on" can participate in festivities that run from 6 p.m. until 1 a.m. March 14 and 15 and from noon until 1 a.m. March 16 and 17. The lineup of Irish band performances begins with a festival kickoff March 8-10 by The Willis Clan, a family of artists and musicians who merge their Irish roots with other music and dance genres to create a unique style.
A Carriage Ride through Fort Wilderness
Posted onFt. Wilderness offers a carriage ride throughout the resort for a flat fee of $45 no matter how many people ride. The capacity is four adults or two adults and three small children. The first ride leaves the Settlement at 5:30pm. The ride's duration is approximately 25 minutes. Extensive stills and video of the carriage ride.
