Laura Gilbreath is a native of San Diego, CA. She has been making the trek up Interstate 5 to Disneyland since she was a small child and terrified of talking tikis and hitchhiking ghosts. She and her husband Lee enjoy trips to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, as well as sailings on the Disney Cruise Line.

Pixar Fest, the Biggest Theme Park Celebration of Stories and Characters from Pixar Animation Studios, Comes to the Disneyland Resort April 13-Sept. 3, 2018

Pixar Fest begins on April 13 and will continue through September 3. This celebration of Pixar and friendship will feature new entertainment offerings in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, including the new "Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular" and an updated version of the "Pixar Play Parade" in Disneyland. The "Paint the Night Parade," with a few new elements, moves to Disney California Adventure. Pixar-themed food and beverage items will be available in both parks. Victor Da Costa Mendoza Celebrates a Fairy Tale Win at the 10th Annual Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Walt Disney World Resort

Dani Cook of Ft. Collins, CO, won the women's division of the 10th annual Disney Princess Half Marathon with a time of 1:20:31. Victor Da Costa Mendoza from Spain won the men's division in 1:19:03. More than 53,000 runners participated in the weekend's events, with more than 25,000 in the half marathon alone.

New Lamplight Lounge to Open June 23 at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park

Lamplight Lounge will serve California casual gastro-pub cuisine that is playfully presented, along with unique signature cocktails and a guest-favorite: Lobster Nachos. The seaside lounge will contain a full bar with picturesque waterfront views of Paradise Bay from both upstairs and downstairs. At night, outdoor seating will provide views of the illuminated Pixar Pier and "World of Color."
