A few years ago I posted a couple of articles on using the props you find at Walt Disney World. One was about props found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the other on hats in the shops. I stayed at one of the All Star resorts last month. These resorts feature bigger than life icons based on the themes of sports, music and movies which make great props for fun vacation photos.

My daugher and I stayed at All Star Sports in the building featuring basketball icons. This was perfect as my daughter is a big college basketball fan. As we were leaving, I had her pose for some fun photos.

Remember, though the above is a nice photo, getting closer is better. I zoomed in to fill the frame with my daughter and still kept a prop (the huge basketball) in the frame.

Okay, I know it is hard to tell she is smiling. Should have asked her to bring one arm down a bit but then it would not be an accurate shooting motion.
