NEWS: Tokyo Disney Announces Fireworks Suspension

Disneyland and Disney World aren’t the only Disney Parks going through some MAJOR changes right now. Disney’s international parks have been changing, too. For example, Disney Adventure World just opened over in Disneyland Paris.

In Tokyo Disney Resort, Tokyo DisneySea’s Aquatopia attraction is closing to reimagine the Port Discovery part of that park. Well, that’s not the only thing that’s changing. The TokyoDisneySea nighttime fireworks show is going away…temporarily.

According to the parade and show schedule on the Tokyo Disney Resort website, the nighttime fireworks show “Sky Full of Colors” will be on hiatus throughout June and July. We do not yet know when the show might return, as the calendar only extends through July, but it looks like those visiting Tokyo Disneyland during the summer will be missing out on the fireworks.

However, you will still be able to see the “Reach For The Stars” nighttime fireworks at Tokyo Disneyland, at least through September 14th. Tokyo Disneyland has noted that the show will be unavailable after that.

You’ll also be able to catch the nighttime Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights, which is still scheduled for almost every evening in June and July. As always, though, if you’re visiting these parks, be sure to check the official schedule for changes.
