NEWS: Universal Makes MAJOR Harry Potter Land Change

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando totally changed the game when it first opened.

And then, after the land was expanded and we realized we’d be able to actually ride the Hogwarts Express, we were thrilled. But then, we realized that something was terribly, terribly wrong.

If you’ve ever been on the Hogwarts Express that takes you between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, you know that you’ll get to hear Harry, Ron, and Hermione seemingly right outside your train compartment door. Except for the fact that Hermione sounds absolutely nothing like Emma Watson, the actress who played her in the franchise.

It’s something that many Harry Potter fans have had an issue with, but we are so happy to tell you that Hermione’s voice has finally been updated!

The voice you hear now sounds a little bit more like the Hermione we’ve come to know and love from the films. Universal didn’t make any sort of announcements about this change, so we’re not sure if this change was due to fan pressure or another reason, but hey — we’ll take it!
