We are still grieving the loss of Shrek 4-D at Universal Orlando.

It was previously announced that the popular attraction would be closing at the beginning of the new year, and unfortunately, that time has come and gone. But, like clockwork, rumors are beginning to spread about what attraction might take its place!
Universal Studios has not yet announced what is going to replace the long-running show, and guests have been speculating since the announcement was first made.

According to Spectrum News Orlando, the attraction is currently walled off — and the walls are covered in Minions! Could this point towards a Minions-themed 4-D show across the way from Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem?

Universal also hinted at the attraction’s replacement over on Twitter, where photos of half-eaten bananas around the park had been posted:
