shopDisney is Experiencing Technical Difficulties Today!

Today was a big day for Disney’s online souvenir shop, shopDisney!

A new item for the popular “Stitch Crashes Disney Movies” collection was released this morning on shopDisney. These always sell out fast, but today’s rush must have been a bit too much for the poor website to handle, because we’re seeing website crashes and mismatched reports across shopDisney!

When we hopped on to shopDisney to snag the newest Stitch Crashes Sleeping Beauty plush, a lot of readers and people on our team got mixed results!

A lot of visitors were led to a page with lines of code instead of shopDisney’s website.

Others were able to get to the page fine and could find the new Stitch Crashes Sleeping Beauty collection by typing it in the search bar!

There were mixed reports here too, though! For some, they were sent to a virtual waiting room before they could order the newest Stitch. Others just got a message that Stitch was already out of stock!

Now, our team is seeing that the Stitch Crashes Sleeping Beauty collection is back up and available for purchase, so hopefully the technical problems are behind us! Issues are likely due to the high volume of traffic with this new release, so we’re expecting things to return to normal from here.
