Two NEW Harry Potter Virtual Reality Experiences Are Coming SOON

Harry Potter New York is a new store that opened in New York City! It has Harry Potter–themed shopping, a Butterbeer Bar, and several interactive experiences!

And now we’ve just got word that the Harry Potter store will have two virtual reality experiences open to guests!

Inside Harry Potter New York, you can try out their scavenger hunts, shop for a wand, try Harry Potter-themed treats, and take photos at several different photo ops around the store! There are authentic props from the films on display as well! Now, you can also sign up to try one of their virtual reality experiences!

There are two virtual reality experiences coming to Harry Potter New York: “Chaos at Hogwarts” and “Wizards Take Flight.”

“Chaos at Hogwarts” lets guests adventure through the Hogwarts castle, where they’ll run into some magical creatures and journey to discover secrets!

“Wizards Take Flight” allows guests to fly on brooms over London and Hogwarts as they battle Death Eaters in the air!

In both experiences, guests will wear a Virtual Reality headset, backpack, hand and foot trackers, and wield a physical wand.

You can purchase tickets for the VR experiences now! The VR adventures will begin on July 15th, and you can buy tickets now for any day between July 15th and August 15th. It’s highly recommended that you buy your tickets online ahead of arriving at the store! When you get to the store, if you have your tickets already, you won’t need to wait in the virtual line! Guests without a ticket will join the virtual line and then wait to be called in, but you can go to the front of the line and show your purchased ticket to be admitted.

Tickets cost $34 per person for each VR experience, and you must be at least 48 inches tall and 10 years old or older to go on the VR experience. Before and after your VR adventure, you can enjoy the shopping and experiences around the store!
