Everyone loves a Disney World vacation, but did you know you can live in a Disney story every day?

The Artisan Club at Cotino is the very first Storyliving by Disney community that is coming to life in the Palm Springs area. Every day, the community is seeing a new milestone being reached. We officially got a first look at some of the brand-new spaces opening up soon. You need to take a look at the photos and details of what’s in store for this experience!

This new Storyliving by Disney community has now welcomed its first residents, who are already discovering what made this part of the desert such a special place for Walt Disney and his family. The community offers gorgeous views of the mountains and sunsets. The community itself has a vibrant art style, iconic architecture, and more.

Residents can choose to join the voluntary Artisan Club, which offers some extra Disney magic. The membership gives guests tons of recreation and relaxation amenities located along the tranquil shores of Cotino Bay, which has the clearest turquoise waters with Crystal Lagoons technology. When we say Storyliving by Disney, it is literally by Disney, as Disney Imagineers have their hands all over this! They have combined their signature touch with the mid-century modern architectural styles of the Coachella Valley. This includes archival artwork by Disney legends and custom pieces by local artists who have created environments that bring new stories to life.

The club is opening later this month and will provide club members with a beautiful place to “connect, create and celebrate together.” There will be things like immersive storytelling dinners, creative art workshops, and more to be a part of. Of course, everything will be delivered with the exceptional care of Disney Cast Members.

Disney has always offered top-notch experiences when it comes to dining, and this is no exception. The club is going to offer two signature dining spots with fresh, seasonal menus. This includes the Architects Fork and Plot Twist – both providing a staple dining experience for Artisan Club members.

The Architects Fork is the club’s table-service restaurant, which “takes members on a creative journey of architecture and design.” The walls are decorated with artwork and technical concept designs from throughout Disney history. Inside, you’ll find a display of construction documents of iconic projects such as “it’s a small world” and Big Thunder Mountain, which pay homage to the hand-drawn techniques of Imagineers.

Diners will also see works by celebrated Disney artists, including Mary Blair, a hand sketch of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle by Bruce Bushman, a mockup of Disney’s Contemporary Resort by Ken Chapman, and more. How incredible is that?! Each piece was specifically hand-selected by Disney Imagineers from the Walt Disney Imagineering archives. The menu offers a selection of hand-crafted items throughout the day, with breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Right outside the Architects Fork is the Artisan Club’s outdoor beach bar, Plot Twist. This spot offers guests a selection of beverages and snacks, as well as a place to relax and refresh in comfy lounge seating, taking in views of the sparkling Cotino Bay.  We have to admit, we love the name of this beach bar.

Speaking of the name, members will notice “book passages and sketches from historic tales that influenced classic Disney stories.” This includes things like the original Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland to Cinderella’s glass slipper. The backdrop that runs along the bar features characters and icons that will resonate with Disney fans and fairytale readers alike.

Taking a step away from the dining, this place offers tons when it comes to wellness and activities. Here you can focus on strength training, Pilates, paddleboarding on Cotino Bay, or having fun playing pickleball or tennis. There’s a variety of fun options to stay active at the club. Of course, the inside of the facilities has that Disney touch, as club members can engage in select Disney-inspired fitness experiences. A mix of programs and classes will allow you to channel your favorite Disney characters and stories through vibrant, themed sessions.

Even the fitness classes are curated by Disney Imagineers. Members can learn to “master their breathwork like Moana, learn to move like the family Madrigal during a high-energy Latin dance cardio class, push it to the limit with a fully-body “Super Circuit” worthy of The Incredibles, channel their inner villain through a wicked power sculpt class, and venture out on Cotino Bay for a paddle board workout during a Stitch-inspired lesson.” This is just a small portion of the unique amenities Artisan Club members can enjoy!
