Avengers Campus, over at Disney California Adventure, is going to be receiving some amazing new experiences during its expansion plan!

However, when welcoming new things, sometimes you need to say goodbye to something else. And, it’s time to say bye to a popular stunt show. Let’s take a look at the details!
The beloved “Avengers Assemble” stunt show at Avengers Campus is set to disassemble, having its final performance on April 5th. After that day, the show will permanently be closed. It’s sad to see this go, as it was one of the attractions that opened with the land.

The show had many Marvel heroes battle villains, such as Taskmaster, for fans to watch in awe. You could cheer on your favorite heroes, like Black Panther, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, and Captain America. The battle took place atop the Avengers’ headquarters.

There are two things we are currently unaware of at this time. First, we don’t know what will be replacing this as entertainment — if anything. Secondly, Disney hasn’t stated specifically why the show is coming to an end, but we don’t expect to be privy to that information.

Add “Avengers Assemble” to the list of stunt shows that have left Avengers Campus. Fans have already had to say goodbye to “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts”, The Amazing Spider-Man Stuntronic show’s live performers, and “Story Time with Deadpool”.

At least we still have shows like “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje”, and the dance-off with Star-Lord and his crew. The Spider-Man show and meet and greets aren’t going anywhere — thank goodness for that. You’ll also still get to meet your favorite characters from the Marvel Universe as you explore the campus, so always be on the lookout!

Even though we have to say goodbye to some of our favorite performances, we have so much to be excited about! Two massive ride experiences will be coming to Avengers Campus, and they look amazing. The E-Ticket attraction, Infinity Defense, will take you on a multi-verse adventure to fight King Thanos. We’ll also get to test fly like Tony, with Stark Flight Lab, which we already have test footage of.

Marvel fans, buckle up! There is going to be a lot of change happening to the Campus. Some are not so great, like saying farewell to our favorite performances. But, there are some amazing things on the horizon. We can’t wait to see these new experiences and go on our hero journeys.
