The holidays are in full swing at Disneyland! There’s so much to see and do during the most wonderful time of the year and so little time to do so!

With that being said, we have some updates on a special attraction that brings a spooky yet festive experience in a hauntingly fun way! Here’s all you need to know.
Haunted Mansion Holiday is a seasonal overlay of the classic Haunted Mansion attraction that includes some of our favorite pals from Halloween Town.

Characters from the whimsical holiday film The Nightmare Before Christmas have taken over Gracey Manor and are celebrating the holidays with frightful festive fun!

This holiday overlay takes place this year from August 23, 2024, until January 7th, 2025. This popular attraction brings in many guests who are excited to see this beloved Tim Burton film brought to life at the eerie but enchanting Haunted Mansion.

Most recently, this attraction has been offering a virtual queue instead of its usual stand-by queue. However, as of today November 26th, a virtual queue is no longer being offered.

Guests looking to ride this festive experience can now wait in the standby line through the newly updated queue, which has been under construction for about 8 months.

The queue includes original stories and features new gardens inspired by Master Gracey, Madame Leota, and more. It also includes the Mansion Greenhouse, belonging to all the mansion’s ghosts.

Haunted Mansion Holiday is also available through Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Another Haunted Mansion addition that is expected to open this winter is the new gift shop themed after a carriage house belonging to Madame Leota. This will be right next to the ride itself and will be called Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond.

Disney has released a story for the shop, stating:
“At one point, it was home to the mansion’s head caretaker, but later Madame Leota took up residence. It is filled with her eclectic furniture including a crystal ball, feinting couch and the original parlor chandelier that Leota used in séances at the mansion.
When the first floor of the carriage house became a shop, Leota kindly lent her desks, cabinets and chests as antique artifacts to be showcased along with the merchandise. As a powerful medium moving between worlds, Madame Leota comes and goes a lot and is excited to welcome guests to her home, soon.”

We can’t wait to check out this new shop in the future, but for now, we’re excited to experience the newly constructed queue for ourselves! We’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney parks news and updates so stay tuned with us here at All Ears.
