3 HUGE Changes Coming to Universal Orlando Next Week

It’s gonna be a BIG WEEK for Universal Orlando and we have all the must-know info to get you informed and HYPED!

Universal has been on their A-game with new additions to spruce up their parks and the list is lengthy. So, as your friends with all the need-to-know info, we took it upon ourselves to give you the 411 on all the big changes coming to Universal Orlando so you don’t miss out on anything. Ready? Mark your calendars cause on June 14th Universal Studios is finally opening their newest addition to the park: DreamWorks Land!

Trollercoaster

Featuring attractions and immersive experiences from your favorite Dreamworks films, the opening of this land has been highly anticipated. We were able to take a sneak peek of the new land recently and we loved all it had to offer. So if you’re heading to the park on June 14th, you’ll have a chance to ride the brand new Trollercoaster, try the already viral Shrekzel and green cheese (ewww but also yumm??) and much more!

Another exciting addition to Universal Studios will be the all-new nighttime show titled CINESATIONAL: A Symphonic Spectacular. It is set to debut on June 14th, along with the new Dreamworks Land, and will use iconic scores from beloved classics like E.T., Jaws, and Ghostbusters just to name a few, to celebrate the magic of music in the art of storytelling. The show will use fountains, projections, and drones to bring this nighttime spectacular to life.

A new show will also debut on the same day just next door at Islands of Adventure with Hogwarts Always! It is described as a “nighttime extravaganza” that will center around the Hogwarts castle, completely transforming it with projections and lighting up the sky with pyrotechnics. The show’s storyline is based on a journey throughout iconic moments of a year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, including ones we saw in the films.

And although it won’t be premiering next week, we still have to mention Universal’s brand new parade titled Universal Mega Movie Parade. Watch your favorite Universal characters leap off the screen onto the streets for a fun daytime parade. You can expect to see characters from E.T., Back to the Future, Jaws, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, Illumination’s Minions and Sing, and DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls and Kung Fu Panda.
