We’re SO excited for a new dessert spot to open at Disney World, and we got some news that has us wondering whether it’s a CLUE that it’s opening soon.
The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers is set to open at Disney’s BoardWalk in 2024, and is set to bring both sweet and savory bites as well as an afternoon tea service! Well, we have a feeling that preparations for the spot are nearing completion, because the Cake Bake Shop is HIRING!
Cake Bake Shop shared on Instagram that several positions were available at the Disney World location. Check it out! Open interviews will be held on March 26th, 28th, and 30th.
As for the open positions, you can interview for things like hosts and servers and even pastry and sous chefs.
It doesn’t end there, though. There are plenty of benefits that might just entice you to swing by for an interview. Cake Bake Shop employees can enjoy medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance — AND MORE.

This IS exciting news! I’d almost given up on their opening anytime soon. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they could be open for Mother’s Day? I doubt that’s possible…..but, at this point, I’ll just be glad to see them open at all.
Any expectation that this will replace the afternoon tea at GF? The Garden View Tea is the best atmosphere, so I am hoping tea will return there.

I could not agree more. I suspect the atmosphere at the Cake Bake Shop will be much less tranquil than the Garden View. I sure hope they resume Afternoon Tea there!
