NEWS: Early Theme Park Entry Is CHANGING at Disneyland

An important policy is CHANGING at Disneyland!

Disneyland

Guests staying at Disneyland Resort hotels are able to enter the theme parks 30 minutes before the rest of the visitors, which means they get early access to rides, shopping, and some dining options. Now, the rules for this perk are changing.

Currently, guests can enter either Disneyland theme park (Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure) 30 minutes early, no matter which day it is. However, Disneyland has announced that, starting January 20th, 2024, only one park will have Early Entry each day:

“Starting January 20, 2024, the early entry benefit will be updated, and Guests with valid park admission and reservations who are checked in and staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels may take advantage of this 30-minute early entry into a designated theme park for every day of their hotel stay. Each day, either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park will be open early. Please check the theme park calendar for the schedule.”

You’ll need to plan your visit so that you’re able to take advantage of Early Entry, or — if you’re NOT staying at a Disney-owned hotel — we’d recommend going to the other park (whichever DOESN’T have Early Entry that day) to avoid the extra crowds.

Right now, Disney World has not announced any changes — all four theme parks are still open 30 minutes early to guests staying at Disney-owned hotels on the East Coast.
