Minnie Mouse is a beloved Disney character!

Audiences were introduced to Mickey Mouse at the same time they met Mickey Mouse — in the 1928 animated short Steamboat Willie.

In that groundbreaking short, we meet Minnie as she runs to catch the boat being piloted by Mickey as it pulls away from a stop at Podunk Landing. She misses the boat, and Mickey uses a crane to pick her up as she runs along the store, depositing her on the deck of the boat as hilarity ensures.

If you’re wondering about Minnie Mouse’s height, that is the question we are looking at today!

As you can see from the animation frame above, Minnie is depicted as being slightly shorter than Mickey, even with her high heels. This Disney LEGO set, released in 2021, also depicts Minnie Mouse as being slightly smaller.

So we know that Minnie is an inch or two shorter than Mickey Mouse, so how tall is Mickey? 

Judging from this frame from the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, which shows Judge Doom’s clothing spread out after he died, we can guess that Mickey and Minnie are the size of a small child, in relation to Judge Doom’s adult clothing.

That would put them both around 2 feet, or perhaps 2 feet and a couple of inches tall.

What about the Minnie Mouse we meet in Disney Parks? How tall is she?

We know, based on hiring practices at the Disney Parks, Minnie stands around 5 feet tall.
