Disney recently shared that Magic Key Pass sales would be resuming at some point in 2023, but didn’t give any indication as to when that might be.
But, it looks like that has officially changed as of TODAY — Magic Key Pass sales have resumed for Disneyland and we’ve got all the details!
Disney announced that Disneyland Resort will be making “select Magic Key passes available for new sales from time to time throughout 2023 as pass inventory becomes available.” Well, it looks like inventory has become available — Magic Key Passes are on sale now!
It looks like the prices have remained the same from when the passes were on sale last, so no price increases here! These are the passes and prices at which they are available:
- Inspire Key — $1599
- Believe Key — $1099
- Imagine Key (SoCal residents only) — $449
Currently the Enchant Key, which costs $699 is only available for renewal.
When we checked it out online, we were sent to a waiting room until the queue was open.
Once the queue was open, our approximate wait time was 25 minutes. There was a note at the top that read, “Please note that, due to high demand, Magic Key pass availability is limited and being in the queue does not guarantee the ability to purchase any Magic Key pass.”
Additionally, new pass sales are being paused nightly at 10PM PT. Guests in the queue will stay in the overnight, assuming they are still connected to the Internet and their browser window stays open. Sales will resume “no earlier than 9AM PT” the following day.
If you’ve been waiting for Magic Key pass sales to resume, head over to the Disneyland website to join the queue! Just keep in mind that being in the queue isn’t a guarantee that you’ll be able to get a pass as they’re subject to availability.
UPDATE: As of January 31st, the Imagine Key and the Believe Key have sold out. The Inspire Key is still available to purchase.
