Calling all fans of art and all things Disney! You will not believe what virtual event is coming later this month.Â

Starting tomorrow, you will be able to register for a virtual event like no other — and it centers on Disney art and costume design.
Hosted by the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) in Seattle, Washington, you will find an exhibit like no other, and that is the “Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume” exhibit. On top of that, the museum is hosting a virtual event about costume design!

The event is on June 11th and consists of a costume designer panel. It will showcase MoPOP curators as well as Disney costume designers. Some designers that will be at the event are Ellen Mirojnick (Maleficent, Cinderella), Isis Mussenden (The Chronicles of Narnia), and Mona May (Enchanted).Â

This first event will focus on the impact that costume design has on the overall impact of the story and a look behind the scenes at techniques used by the designers.

Since this is a virtual event you can attend from anywhere and you can register now at MoPOP’s website. The cost for registration is what you are able to donate, and if you are not able to donate, you are not required to. We cannot wait to see a behind-the-scenes look at what makes these movies so special!
