At the end of 2020, they had narrowed down the list of potential developers for the project. And, a few months later, they are now ready to unveil which company they have chosen.

Universal has revealed that they have chosen Wendover Housing Partners to develop the new property. The company is based out of Altamonte Springs and will be responsible for building and managing the affordable housing community.

In addition to finalizing the developer for the property, Universal has transferred ownership of the land where the community will be located to a not-for-profit company called Housing for Tomorrow. They will now oversee the completion of the project and work with Wendover Housing Partners during their 55-year lease of the property.
