The volume of content available to watch on Disney+ continues to grow! In just a couple of days, all five seasons of The Muppet Show arrived on the streaming service, not to mention all of the exciting new and original content available, like WandaVision and The Mandalorian.
Deadline has reported that another classic show will soon arrive on Disney+, and if the names Rose, Dorothy, Blanche, and Sophia have any significance to you, then you’ll want to hear about this!
The Golden Girls will arrive on Disney+ this summer! Currently, all of the episodes are available to U.S. audiences on Hulu. At an event to promote the launch of Disney+ international branch “Star,” it was revealed that the series will be added soon. At this time, it’s unclear exactly which countries and markets will be able to watch The Golden Girls specifically on the Disney+ streaming platform, but as of this writing it looks like MORE of their fans worldwide will soon have the opportunity to watch their favorite episodes.
Luke Bradley-Jones, Senior Vice President of direct-to-consumer and general manager for Disney+ (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) said that they have “Coming this summer, you will have every season of The Golden Girls, every ever episode.”
We’ll be on the lookout for more information including an exact date we can expect to check out The Golden Girls on Disney+, and in which countries the show will be made available!
