Big Thunder Mountain Railroad takes you over and through a mountain.

The wonderful thing about Disney mountains is that while you can not climb them you are invited to ride over and through them. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is my favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom. It takes you around an American Southwestern red stoned mountain range (and I do me around) and through caves and past the abandoned town of Tumbleweed. I photographed this BTMRR train emerging over a hill while waiting in the queue to go for my own ride for my Disney Pic of the Week on Mountains. Remember…Hang onto Your Hats and Glasses!
