Over in Glendale, Arizona, Mattel is set to open Mattel Adventure Park sometime in 2026 or 2027 (with a second location in Bonner Springs, Kansas). This theme park will sport all sorts of attractions inspired by our childhood and is promising to be “the only place where you can get behind the wheel of a lightning-fast Hot Wheels go kart, join Thomas & Friends on a treasure hunt journey and enjoy a signature pink beverage on the third story rooftop of The Barbie Beach House.” Let’s take a look at the experiences that’ll be featured at this new theme park in Arizona!

The attractions and bar listed on Mattel’s website are as follows:

Hot Wheels Bone Shaker: The Ultimate Ride will be a family coaster themed to the iconic Hot Wheels Bone Shaker. It’ll be the first-ever family coaster to feature the famous hot rod’s skull design that climbs 84 feet in the air and dives into a double helix! Not too scary but a great way for coaster-averse kiddos and grown-ups to gain courage, this new coaster will be a must-ride!

The Twin Mill Racer will take Hot Wheels fans on a 65-second thrill ride over a 2,503-foot track. The coaster will go from zero to 60 mph in under three seconds before blasting riders outside of the air-conditioned loading zone.

This is a more thrilling attraction, featuring two vertical loops (one of which tops out at 116 feet) and a series of corkscrew and hairpin turns. Hold on tight!

It’ll also include a unique Barbie-themed flying theater and the Barbie Rooftop bar and restaurant.

  1. It’s all fun…in theory. But this land was supposed to open in 2022. They can’t even finish the rollercoaster, so right now it’s just an eyesore off the 101 (I live in Glendale, everyone has given up hope).

  2. I’m excited for the whole experience and trying out all the fun rides and activitie with my children. Even all the different restaurants.
