Universal Orlando Might Be The BEST Place to Celebrate The World Cup!

The FIFA World Cup has officially begun, and we know fans all over will be celebrating all the way through the end of the event on July 19th.

There are many different ways to celebrate and follow along with the World Cup, but we’re here to tell you that heading over to CityWalk in Universal Orlando may be one of the best places to go. There are special events happening throughout the duration of the competition that you won’t want to miss out on!

From June 11th through July 19th, FIFA World Cup Watch Party and CityWalk have teamed up to create the ultimate experience all throughout CityWalk. When it comes to food and drink, there are SIX different locations in CityWalk with special offerings in honor of the event. Those items are:

Red, White & Q at NBC Sports Grill & Brew: Smoked beef brisket and Cajun turkey, serrano-cheddar sausage, fennel-cabbage slaw, pimento mac and cheese, fire-kissed Brussels sprouts, and a side of orange blossom honey corn bread and white BBQ sauce

Órale at Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food: This dish is packed with machaca beef and jalapeño chimichurri in a corn tortilla and topped with poblano-queso-ranchero sauce

Poutine Street Dog at Hot Dog Hall of Fame: made with a crispy all-beef hot dog and dressed in potato sticks, cheese curds, beef gravy, and garnished with chives

Cannoli at Red Oven Pizza Bakery: made with thick ricotta, chocolate, maraschino cherries, and powdered sugar

GOOOAALLLL! at Voodoo Doughnut: A fluffy raised shell doughnut featuring a spicy mocha velvet top and sweet vanilla icing

Sakura Peach Cup at Bend the Bao: made with citrus tea, cherry blossom boba, sweet cream foam, peach blossom syrup, and garnished with pink sanding sugar-crusted orchid

If you’re looking to watch the matches, you’ll want to head to either NBC Sports Grill & Brew or the the exterior screens of NBC Sports and the Universal Legacy Store. On select match days, you may even find soccer freestyle jugglers, stilt walkers, and live DJs wandering around! You can also head to the Coca-Cola World Cup Fan Refresh Zone to try five exclusive flavors available during the event — Golden Goal Punch, Hibiscus Strike, Midnight Match, All Eyes on Blue, and Final Whistle Fizz — as well as purchase a FIFA-themed Coca-Cola Freestyle souvenir cup.

You can also find the Doritos Loaded Pop-up, which has four menu items to try out:

Elote Nachos
Cheeseburger Nachos
Flamin’ Hot Buffalo Nachos
Texas BBQ Nachos

Finally, you’ll find some pretty great photo op spots, such as the Visa Winner Tunnel, which is an artsy walkthrough experience that doubles as a photo op. You can also stop by the Universal Rewards Visa Signature Card acquisition kiosk to get exclusive FIFA-themed merchandise, while supplies last.
