NEWS: Actress and Singer Olivia Newton-John Has Passed Away

We regret to inform you that actress Olivia Newton -ohn has passed away.

Her husband, John Easterling, announced in a Facebook post that she passed today due to ongoing cancer treatments. She was 73 years old and has been fighting breast cancer for years.

“Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time” said her husband.

He also says, “Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. The British and Australian star was known for many things throughout her life — one of her most notable roles is Sandy in the movie musical Grease. 

In her career that spanned five decades, she sold 100 million records and had several popular hits like “Physical”.
