With Halloween on the horizon (the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World will be held on August 17!), Disney has released information on a number of new themed items that will be making their appearance at various times during this spooky season.
Both coasts will feature this year’s Happy Halloween Base Popcorn Bucket, which sports Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween outfits, followed by Chip and Dale costumed as bats! The base popcorn bucket can be found at various popcorn locations across Disneyland park at Disneyland Resort and Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.
There’s also a new 2018 Halloween Cauldron Premium Popcorn Bucket at Disney Parks. Starting in mid-September, this light-up bucket will be available at Disneyland park at Disneyland Resort and all four parks and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort! They say this bucket even has an elusive Hidden Mickey.
Disney California Adventure is the only place in which you’ll find the Halloween 2018 Oogie Boogie Base Popcorn Bucket. “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” villain and the Headless Horseman adorn this bucket, which will be at the Buena Vista, Grizzly Peak, Pixar Pier, and Hyperion Popcorn Carts.
If you’d rather go PREMIUM Oogie Boogie, that bucket is returning to Disneyland Resort and will be at the Disney California Adventure Popcorn Carts and at the New Orleans Popcorn Cart at Disneyland park. And a new version of this popular bucket will be available exclusively at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World Resort. (It will turn up later in the season at Disneyland Resort.)
Note that all Disneyland Resort Premium and Base popcorn buckets are non-refillable. All Walt Disney World Resort Premium and Base popcorn buckets are refillable during your length of stay for $1.75 per refill.
A Green Poison Apple Stein will be available throughout Disneyland Resort, as well as at various outdoor vending locations throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom. And to go IN the stein, you can find Poison Apple Glow Cubes in three different colors. At Walt Disney World, you can get the Green Poison Apple Glow Cube in specialty drinks at AbracadaBar at Disney’s BoardWalk or Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs. Disneyland Resort will have the Green and Red Poison Apple Glow Cubes at various locations.

But there’s also a new color this year — a Purple Poison Apple Glow Cube! Sorry Walt Disney World visitors — it’s available exclusively at the Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure.
Rounding out the Halloween novelty merchandise is a Headless Horseman Straw Clip available in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and throughout the Disneyland Resort, and a Tire Pumpkin Straw. This latter item is inspired by “Haul-o-ween” at Cars Land, and can be found at the Cozy Cone Motel and Flo’s V8 Café at Disney California Adventure. It’s even made its way over to Walt Disney World — it’ll be at various quick-service locations throughout Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

All these Halloween novelties are only available while supplies last during the spooky season, which begins with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on August 17 and with Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort on September 7.
