Why August 8th Will Be a BIG Day for Disney Adults

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will take place later this summer and Disney just dropped a ton of news about this year’s event!

We’ve officially got the schedule of events and know who will be honored at the Disney Legends Ceremony, too. But — for the first time, this brand-new event is taking place during D23: The Ultimate Fan Event!

The D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will take place in Anaheim, California from August 9th-11th, 2024. Tickets will officially go on sale on March 26th, 2024, so mark your calendar because this event is known to sell out! There will be plenty of panels, presentations, and more, and for the first time ever — D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort!

The weekend kicks off at the very first D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort, where fans will celebrate “from rope drop to late night” with offerings like a custom cavalcade, dance party, photo ops, special foods, merchandise, and more. And, over in Disney California Adventure, Disney Junior will host a musical celebration.

The first D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort is happening on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, and we’ll be sharing more details about this brand-new event as soon as we learn more.

Disney hasn’t released the full schedule for the panels and presentations just yet, so we’ll be on the lookout and will let you know once it’s officially out!
