Amazon Is Using A Virtual Queue For Disney’s Lorcana Trading Cards ?

If you keep up with all things Disney merchandise and collectibles, then you’re probably familiar with Disney Lorcana trading cards. 

The premier set was released in August 2023 in stores, and in September 2023 online, and sold out FAST. Now, the second edition of the game is up for grabs online. However, it seems that snagging them could be a bit of a process.

Disney Lorcana is breaking HISTORY on Amazon by being the first ever board game, trading card, or toy to be available for purchase via virtual queue on the site. So far, it has only been used for major launches with significant demand. To put things into perspective, the VQ system was used for the launch of the Playstation 5.

So, at 9AM PST on December 1st, 2023, you can join the Amazon Virtual Queue to purchase Disney Lorcana Rise of the Floodborn. 

The catch? Well, entry into the VQ will be based on a lottery system. Once the queue closes, people will be randomly selected to get an “invitation” to shop via email, where they’ll have 72 hours to confirm which products they want to purchase.

After 72 hours with no purchase, someone else will be moved to that spot. Lottery entry is for United States residents only.

The items available for purchase include Disney Lorcana set Rise of the Floodborn Starter Decks (Amber/Sapphire ) AND (Amethyst/Steel ), as well as Booster Display Boxes. There will be a purchase limit of two of each product per person.
