McDonald’s is so far ahead of us that it’s not even funny.

While we’re busy preparing for the New Year with new Minnie Ears, 2023 merchandise, and holiday travel crowds, McDonald’s was busy blowing us all away by being lightyears ahead.
According to Newsweek, in Fort Worth, Texas, McDonald’s has opened their first fully automated location. In case you might not know what that means, it means customers can order and pick up their meals without ever being in contact with another human being! Newsweek shared a picture from @foodiemunster on Instagram showing the process.

This is one of the steps in McDonald’s “Accelerating the Arches” initiative where they are aiming to grow by improving customers’ experiences. So far, the Fort Worth location is a test for the process.
