Loved this video. You always do a great job of letting us see the resort from all angles. My family stayed at the resort 21 years ago. Needless to say , there have been many changes. So I was glad to get to see the resort as it is today. I don’t know if this true today, but a couple things I loved about this resort was the music, which used to be old western movie scores, Aaron Copeland music, etc. , which made you feel like you were stepping into a lodge out west. Also, Artist Point used to be a great upscale date night place. Don’t know if that has changed. In any case , the restaurant is beautiful. The Lodge used to offer an opportunity to raise the flag on the very top of the building. You went to the top floor, where there was a walkway to a door which led to a stairway that opened up on the roof. There was a “Boy Scout-type” flag raising. You had to get up at the crack of Dawn. But it was a memorable time for the kids.
