New Look Coming for Walt Disney World Swan Resort Lobby Spaces

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is undergoing its next redesign project, a $3 million transformation of the Swan Resort's lobby, public spaces and coffee bar. Upon completion, the resort's two main lobbies, all guest rooms and meeting spaces will all have completely updated appearances.

Tangaroa Terrace Closing for Refurbishment

The Tangaroa Terrace restaurant at the Disneyland Hotel will be closed for refurbishment beginning September 4, 2018 and is expected to reopen mid-January 2019. Select menu offerings will be available at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar and The Coffee House during this time.

A Preview of the New California Grill at the Contemporary Resort

The Contemporary Resort's popular restaurant, California Grill, closed February 1, 2013, for an extensive refurbishment. The Disney Parks Blog recently released renderings of what the new California Grill dining room and onstage kitchen will look like when it opens later this summer, as well as a few items that will appear on the new menu. Designed by the Puccini Group in San Francisco, the restaurant will feature a wall of wines at the entrance and will showcase the spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom below.
