Why Universal Fans Are Running to Their Closest Xfinity Store

We’re sure every theme park fan is hitting movie theaters this week for the highly anticipated Toy Story 5, but there’s another movie that we’re patently waiting for opening next week – Minions & Monsters!

To celebrate the new film, Xfinity is turning more than 700 retail locations nationwide into free, Minions-themed pop-up experiences. Here’s how to have some Minions fun right at home!

From now through July 5th, Xfinity stores nationwide will transform into playful Minions & Monsters destinations, turning store exploration into entertainment. You can step into an exclusive augmented-reality experience, “A Portal into Mayhem,” where you interact with characters from the film and unlock immersive portals that bring movie content into your real-world environment. Search the store to find hidden Minions, conjure spells, and collect movie clips. As you discover and scan character markers throughout the store, Xfinity members can score perks!

Select locations will feature larger-than-life Minions installations inspired by scenes from the movie, creating picture-perfect moments for fans and families. While supplies last, members can also take home limited-time Minions collectible drops, including pins and t-shirts, with exclusive merch available for Xfinity Platinum and Diamond members.

All Xfinity members will have access to a $5 Fandango Movie Cash offer to purchase tickets for early access screenings of the film through Fandango, while supplies last, plus the ability to download Minions & Monsters digital experience kits directly through the Xfinity app. Diamond members can also enter to win tickets to VIP screenings in Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Chicago, and San Francisco!
