So many changes have been happening at Disney Springs lately. We’ve seen Sprinkles Cupcakes, Francesca’s, Shore, and, most recently, Johnston & Murphy close for good. But there’s still some good news – new stores Vans, Vuori, and Cole Haan are coming soon!

But even with that long list, that’s not the only change coming to Disney Springs – Ghirardelli is temporarily relocating while its current storefront is under construction. An exact date wasn’t announced, but a brand-new permit just gave us a hint!
The Ghirardelli Shop is closing for a major refurbishment that will include more indoor seating and a smoother checkout experience. Given the extensive refurb, the store will not reopen until sometime in 2027. The store will temporarily be moved to the Town Center area, but that’s all we knew – until today!

The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company just filed a Notice of Commencement permit to install signage at a new location. Dynamic Aspects is listed as the contractor, which specializes in building and installing dynamic light-up signage. At the new location, the Ghirardelli sign could shine as brightly as Spaceship Earth!

The new location is 1676 A E Buena Vista Dr., the address of multiple Town Center storefronts, including T-Rex Cafe, Na Hoku, Edward Beiner Eyewear, and Pandora. But there’s only one vacant storefront in the area – the former Sprinkles Cupcakes. That’s right, Ghirardelli is moving into the former Sprinkles, which was a Black Tap pop-up location until May 31st.

We’re so excited to check out Ghirardelli at the former Sprinkles location once the change happens. No date has been announced yet, but stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney Springs news!
