FULL TOUR Of Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club at the New Universal Kids Resort!

The highly anticipated Universal Kids Resort is officially open! This entirely new theme park was built with kids in mind, and all of the theming and rides reflect that!

In this park, you’ll be able to find seven lands themed to your kids’ favorite movies, TV shows, and characters, including Shrek, SpongeBob SquarePants, Jurassic World, Trolls, Puss in Boots, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and of course, Minions. So without further ado, let’s get into everything you need to know about the new Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club. 

In this land, you’re thrown into the middle of a fight between the Yellow Minions and the Purple Minions. We are in the midst of all the chaos as the Yellow Minions try to tame their crazy purple twins. This is the water land at Universal Kids Resort park, and all the attractions reflect that.

Speaking of attractions in this land, you can find two rides. First up is Bello Bay Cruise, where guests ride along rapids where the Yellow and Purple Minions face off in a water-soaked battle. This ride didn’t hold back! When we say we got soaked, we got SOAKED! It was easily the longest ride in the park from our experience.

There was really only one big drop, and then you’re moving along the attraction to the other side of the building. So nothing scary, although it is very cool! We saw several kiddos with bathing suits on and even some moms with one-piece swimsuits on with shorts, because this felt a bit like taking a swim. It was the ultimate way to cool off! If you have someone not riding, definitely leave your things with them. 

There is also a ride called Bello Bay Golf Cart Derby, which is a kid-friendly ride that features a chaotic golf game that spins you out of control.

This ride was super cute, and the themeing was top-notch. It reminded us of something similar to Alien Swirling Saucers combined with the Mad Tea Party in Disney World. The cars were spinning the entire ride, as well as the platform they sat on!

If you’re looking for some amazing merch from Yellow and Purple Minions’ apparel, accessories, headwear, and the cutest plushes, head over to Bello Bay Boutique. If you get hungry, you can stop by Bello Bay Bites to try some incredible Purple and Yellow Minion-themed snacks. This spot has popcorn, mac and cheese cones, shaved ice, and other beverages to enjoy.

During our stop by, we tried the Bello Bay Mac and Cheese Cone for $14.99. This has mac and cheese with a garlic sauce bread cone, and a Minion tot on top.

In this land, you can also, of course, meet the Minions in this absolutely adorable meet-and-greet.  You could meet several of those crazy characters as they are vacationing at the Bello Bay Club. Finally, this land has several interactive play areas, including a great splash pad for cooling off in the summer heat.

This area was super cute and had tons of unique themeing for kids to enjoy while they cool off.

This area was similar to the other lands in the park in that it didn’t have much shade around, but there were plenty of freestyle machines, water refill stations, and water sprayers to keep you cool.
