…Universal Studios Las Vegas! Sort of. Earlier this year, Universal announced a new, year-round horror experience would be coming to the Strip, and now it’s got an official name!

The new Universal horror experience coming to Las Vegas officially has a name! Universal Horror Unleashed will be the company’s first year-round horror experience.

We first learned about this new project back in January 2023, when it was announced that Universal had plans to open a year-round horror-focused destination in Vegas. The 110,000 square foot space will be the “anchor tenant” in a 20-acre expansion of Area15, a relatively new entertainment district in Las Vegas.

Universal is known for its classic horror films that involved characters like Dracula and Frankenstein but has been making waves with hit directors and producers like Jason Blum, Jordan Peele, and James Wan. Content from both ages of filmmaking will be included in the new space.
