Preferred Parking Option Tested at Parks

According to an article in the Orlando Sentinel, Walt Disney World is testing a "preferred parking" program that allows guests to obtain parking spots closer to theme park entrances for an extra fee. The test, which is in effect at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, requires guests to pay $35 per day for a preferred spot, $15 more than the current $20 per day fee. Disney resort guests or annual passholders, who do not have to pay for theme park parking, may pay $15 a day to park in the preferred parking areas.
