NEWS: Disney World App Change Debuts 17 NEW Additions!

While booking dining reservations, deciding which parks to visit, and planning your travel itinerary are all very important for your Disney World vacation, there’s one more decision that we feel is also very important.

We have an important question: which character are you choosing for your My Disney Experience app profile? Yes, yes, we know this doesn’t ACTUALLY impact your vacation, but hey, we think it’s important (and it’s fun!!). If you haven’t found the perfect character avatar yet, we’ve got great news for you — tons of NEW characters are now available!

While dozens of characters from different Disney and Pixar movies have been available for years now, every now and then, Disney adds more characters. It’s fun to see all the options — does anyone else struggle with picking just ONE character?!

Disney just added seventeen new characters! You can select one of these new characters as your profile photo on the My Disney Experience app, the Disney World website, and your other MyDisney profiles. They are:

Lady Tremaine
Maleficent
Queen of Hearts

Yep, looks like Disney is definitely in its villain era right now, which makes sense considering the Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show just recently opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and of course, Villains Land is in progress in Magic Kingdom.
