Temporary CLOSURE Announced for Space Mountain in Disneyland

Disney rides can close temporarily for a variety of different reasons.

In the case of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, the ride closed for a time to be refurbished, but other attractions like Voyage of the Little Mermaid haven’t reopened since the park closures in 2020. We’ve got some more news about some temporary ride closures coming up that you need to know about!

Disneyland has announced that Space Mountain will be closing temporarily on September 18th and will be opening “mid-fall”

No reopening date has been announced yet, as the Disneyland calendar currently only goes out until mid-September.

In addition to Space Mountain closing, the following attractions will also be closed temporarily starting later this month:

• Paradise Garden Grill (DCA) — August 24th-26th
• Sailing Ship Columbia (DL) — September 11th-15th
• Mark Twain Riverboat (DL) — Starting September 17th with no reopening date yet
