You get what you pay for here at the all-star sports resort. That being said, we really enjoyed our stay! This is a perfect option for those looking to stay on property but are on a budget. We were very lucky to stay in a newly renovated room which made the experience much better. The room felt new and clean! The theming at this resort is fun, especially for sports fanatics!

Pros:

Fun theme, lower price tag, newly renovated rooms available.

Cons:

Thin walls, not a lot of dining options, only bus transportation available.

If I feel the need to add extra days to a DVC stay I stay at one of the all stars. Nice clean and well maintained rooms. The food court is where these resorts fall short. The food is a bit pricey for the quality. The bus service I typical of all the WDW resorts. On this visit the busses didn’t service all three All Stars. Definite pluss

Pros:

Clean well maintained rooms

Cons:

Food court

We recently stayed at All star sports in the home run section. We actually really enjoyed our stay! We were pleasantly surprised to check into a newly renovated room. The theming was fun and we liked the lower price tag on this resort.

Pros:

Fun theming and lower prices than most Disney resorts. Close proximity to other all star resorts.

Cons:

The rooms are small and walls are thin so you can sometimes hear other guests. Busses are only transportation option.

We stayed here in October. We were very disappointed. The curtains in our room wouldn’t close all the way. Maintenance came and just pinched the two sides together with one of the room’s clothes hangers. So, for the duration of our trip we had a hanger holding our curtains together (super classy). There were no luggage racks so the only place for suitcases was on the floor. They only provided one bar of soap for the room. When we would try to call housekeeping, the call would go unanswered. The coffee machine in the food court was broken and there was never any ice in the ice machines.

Pros:

First pick up and drop off for the busses.

Cons:

Room amenities, service, cast member helpfulness, food court choices, bus lines.

Will not be staying at All Star Sports anymore, always stayed at PoP Century. Rooms smelled bad, air didn’t work and they call they self fixing it. One bad experience with a cashier in the cafeteria, she was not friendly to my kind. But everyone at the checking in counter was nice and very helpful. But will not be using this hotel anymore. My stay was October 3rd thru 8 2022

Pros:

Great for the price, if your not planning staying in your room all day

Cons:

Need new everything, and that one cashier need’s to learn how to treat her customers.

I have stayed in all of the All-Star locations over the years for one trip or another and so this review applies to Music, Movies, and Sports.

Look here, buckos! Are the All-Star Resorts the most amazing and luxurious resorts you will have ever stayed in? No, most definitely not. However, as the most value-centric locations on property, they are meant to be exactly that: VALUES.

Many people compare the All-Star Resorts to Disney World Motel6. However, as someone who has stayed in many a Motel6 in my time, that is NOT the case.

The All-Stars are simplistic, themed cheesily, and have just the basics in terms of food options. However, all of that is exactly why you pay the low price to stay here! The rooms are largely pretty well-maintained (especially with the recent room refurbs), are a decent enough size, and the food options do just what you need them to: sustain you.

I have stayed here as a child, as a high schooler, and as an adult, and have enjoyed each experience. If you are like us and prefer to spend as much time in the parks as possible and just have a decent place to lay your head until you go to the next park bright and early the next day, then the All-Stars do exactly what you need them to do.

Now, I will say that if possible, we prefer to stay at Pop Century over the All-Star resorts for the sole reason of the Skyliner. However, for a price that lets be honest is not really any higher than many hotels in most places around the country these days (I once stayed in an Econo Lodge that was legitimately concerning for a similar price as a night at the All-Stars), these resorts do the job.

Pros:

Value price for a well-maintained resort Still on property so still get Disney theming Great place to lay your head in between park days New refurbs freshen up the rooms

Cons:

Amenities are a bit limited (though you can’t expect too much!) These CAN get a bit loud/crowded around school/band trip seasons

Just came back from a stay at the hotel, Don't know why people complain? It was a very nice hotel ,clean and the people who are working there where VERY NICE.You are sleeping, showering, and taking a dip in the pool. It was very good. I come down to Disney every year, and have stayed at soooo many of the hotels they offer. Your going to the parks, so shower, swimming, and fast food are good. stop complainning. Good place to stay!

Pros:

Good Hotel, But your just sleeping, swimming and fast food.Your going to the Parks

Cons:

none

This should be everyone's choice for an All Star stay. Because it's the first stop for the shared busses, every single bus is going to come to you empty and drop you off first at the end of the day. You'll have a better chance of a seat, and you'll never have to watch a full bus drive past without stopping. We went at a low crowd time, and there were no issues with noise. The oversized sports icons are a lot of fun, even for a no-sports person like me! Coffee makers are not standard, but some are available by request on a first come first served basis.

Pros:

Best bus option! great price

Cons:

small rooms

A decent value considering the perks (like buses) that you get. Went in 2019 in summer with my (broke) college friends and a few things weren't working in our room. Like a light switch was really finicky. Just a REALLY basic room meant for only sleeping in. When you spend most of your time at the parks like us college kids do though, it's okay I guess. We are going to opt to spend a little more this year when we go to WDW to stay at a nicer hotel.

Pros:

Affordable for broke college kids.

Cons:

Room to sleep in, nothing more.

We stayed here because we knew for our first trip we wanted to do as much as possible in the parks and just needed a place to sleep. Our son isn't a big sport fan, so the decor wasn't a factor for us. It was also February so a bit too cold for the pool. We stayed in the Surf section right by the pool. The room was... fine. The dining hall is... fine. Would I go out of my way to stay there again? No, probably not. There's nothing wrong with it, I just want to explore other hotel options.

Pros:

If you have a sports fan in the family, I'm sure the decor is delightful. Affordable option if you're just looking for an on-site hotel to crash in each night.

Cons:

Very basic amenities.
