Come with Us for a FULL TOUR of the NEW Universal Kids Resort Hotel

We’re currently on the ground discovering all the new Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas has to offer, and while that includes a whole new theme park with five new lands, it ALSO includes a new hotel!

We’re at Universal Kids Resort!

The hotel is part of the new park, meaning that if you stay there, you’re essentially staying INSIDE the park, just like Helios Grand Hotel in Epic Universe. What does it really look like inside, though? We’re here right here, right now, and are prepared to bring you ALL the news you need to know before booking a stay!

Universal Kids Resort Hotel opens along with the park officially on July 1st, 2026, and by staying here, you’ll not only get a dedicated entrance into the park, but you can also take advantage of perks like early theme park entry.

Early park entry!

Here you’ll find 300 guest rooms and family suites, as well as three different dining options to appease even the pickiest palates. Find something you like while shopping around at Universal Kids Resort? Your purchases will be delivered right back to your hotel room, completely free of charge!

When you step inside the lobby, you’ll find it to be bright and colorful, complete with lots of different seating options for you and your family to get comfortable in while you wait to check in.

While we were waiting to check in, we met SpongeBob and Patrick!

There are four different types of rooms available! The Standard Room is 288 square feet and features one queen bed, a twin-over-full bunk bed, and a kid-friendly bathroom. A Deluxe Queen Room is 314 square feet and has one queen bed, a twin-over-full bunk bed, and a kid-friendly bathroom. It’s a bit bigger than the Standard Room, but that’s about the only difference.

Our Standard Room!

The Signature Queen Room is 424 square feet and has one queen bed, a twin-over-full bunk bed, and a kid-friendly bathroom with a separate toilet, which we know can be really helpful for some families. Lastly, we have the Family Suite, which is 486 square feet and features one king bed in a private room, plus a bunk bed, a queen pull-out sofa, a kid-friendly bathroom, and an extended living room.

Check-in for the hotel begins at 4 PM, and check-out is 11 AM (we LOVE a later morning check-out!), but check-ins and late check-outs may be available for an additional fee depending on availability. Also, if you’re concerned about carrying your luggage around the resort, you can store your bags at the hotel before or after your check-in, even on the day of your check-in or check-out, which is a BIG help.
