Contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com sends us these photos from his trip to the parks on Friday, March 18, 2016 taking a look at some of the ongoing projects around the parks.
Starting off at the Mickey and Friends parking structure taking a look at the Star Wars themed land clearing.
What used to be the berm with trees is now just dirt that is starting to be moved around.

The rock work from the old mine train has been saved but everything else appears to be gone.
The trees are cleared and you can see right into the park and the top of the cabin.
Up close from the queue there is no problem though. It is peak season because of spring break — which means $119 for a one-day/one-park ticket.
First stop today, Disneyland. Scaffolding up behind the cofferdam.

A closer look at the scaffolding and the cleared berm beyond it. The parking structure is much clearer in this picture.

The northern section of the Rivers of America is now dry. They have boxed up the trees that will be saved.

Looking back at the cofferdam

Looking toward New Orleans Square.
That mass of guests is the queue for Pirates.
The Big Thunder trail and beyond it the cleared land for Star Wars.

Frozen has been retired and the Royal Theatre has Beauty and the Beast and Tangled once again.
Painting continues in Toontown

The cousins doing the Mambo. For more on the Rollickin’ Roadsters here is my report from the AP Preview a few weeks ago.
The Studio Store signage has returned.
Replacing the Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post. The merchandise is still almost all Frozen though.
Grizzly River Run has returned to operation… of course it was down when I walked by.

The walls are down and the decking replaced here… the benches have yet to return though.
