The best time of year to visit Ft. Wilderness is around the December holidays. Even if you aren’t staying there, it’s worth the trip just to see the elaborate decorations. I’m not talking about Disney’s decorations either, I’m talking about the campsites of the guests! They are really quite amazing. It’s especially fun to wander around with a group of friends or take a carriage ride.
