Recipes Malibu Beurre Blanc Coral Reef Restaurant The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Epcot
1 ounce olive oil
½ cup fine diced shallots
1 cup Malibu Rum
½ cup heavy cream
1 ½ tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
5 tablespoons butter, room temperature
To taste kosher salt
To taste pepper
Method of Preparation:
1. In a pan, on med ium heat, add olive oil and sweat shallots.
2. Add Malibu rum and reduce by 2/3.
3. Add heavy cream and reduce by 2/3.
4. Add the fresh squeezed lemon juice, mixing well.
5. Turn down the heat and whisk in the butter a little at a time.
6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
