Adventureland EntranceINTRODUCTION

As you walk along Main Street, U.S.A., toward Sleeping Beauty Castle, the first path on your left will bring you into Adventureland, an exotic, fanciful land which combines many foreign locales into one: Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Polynesia.

 

ATTRACTIONS AND ENTERTAINMENT

Enchanted Tiki Room – The original indoor musical show, featuring an array of audio-animatronic singing birds and flowers.

Indiana Jones Adventure – Take a thrilling jeep ride through a lost temple, but beware the wrath of the god.

Jungle CruiseCruise down the Nile, the Amazon and the Congo with your entertaining guide – but beware of bad jokes.

Tarzan’s Treehouse – Climb up into Tarzan’s home. Based on the 1998 Disney feature film.

 

TOURING TIPS

Because of the popularity of the Indiana Jones Adventure, Adventureland gets quite congested. Getting a Fastpass for the Indiana Jones Adventure is recommended. Jungle Cruise often has a lengthy line as well, but the Enchanted Tiki Room and Tarzan’s Treehouse are usually walk-ons.

 

PLACES TO EAT

Aladdin’s Oasis – Dining location for Paint the Night Grab and Go meals. Includes a meal and beverage and access to a reserved viewing area for the Paint the Night parade. Can be reserved in advance, but pending availability same day meals (and the corresponding viewing location access) may be available.

Bengal Barbecue – Serves grilled chicken, beef, and vegetable kabobs as well as snacks and beverages.

Tropical Imports – Healthier snacks, including whole fresh fruit or packaged fruit and veggie boxes, trail mix, bottled water and soft drinks.

Tiki Juice Bar – Dole Pineapple Whip, pineapple juice, and pineapple spears.

SHOPPING

Adventureland Bazaar – Safari-themed plush as well as unique gift items such as African animal carvings.

Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost – Official Indiana Jones merchandise such as t-shirts and toys, as well as jackets, hats, and jewelry.

South Seas Traders – Offers hats, Hawaiian shirts, and grass skirts.

 

INTERESTING FACTS

Tarzan’s Treehouse opened in 1999, replacing the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse which opened in 1962.

The Tahitian Terrace, a lunch/dinner show featuring Polynesian dancers and entertainers, operated in the area now occupied by Aladdin’s Oasis for over 30 years.
