There are a lot of new things coming to Disney World, and for some things we don’t have many details. But just recently we have been learning more about the addition to Coronado Springs Resort. And now, we know when you can start staying in the addition, as well as when you can start making your reservations!
The new 15-story addition to the resort is called the Gran Destino Tower, and it will open in July 2019 to guests.
Gran Destino will serve as the new entrance to the entire Coronado Springs Resort. It includes 545 new guest rooms, including 50 suites, a two-story lobby, and a themed table-service restaurant for the top floor. The restaurant will offer incredible views of Disney World (as well as great food!).
The resort’s more than 1,800 existing rooms have also been fully updated with new fixtures, furnishings and lighting. A second new restaurant is planned to open on an island in the middle of the resort’s 14-acre lake, Lago Dorado, with new walkways stretching across the water, making it convenient no matter where guests stay at the resort.
Guests can start making reservations for Gran Destino Tower on November 27 for visits starting in July 2019 and beyond by visiting the Walt Disney World website, calling 407-W-Disney, or your Travel Agent. (AllEars.Net recommends expert Disney vacation planners, Mouse Fan Travel.)
