  1. The first time I ever saw Chef Morimoto was years ago on the original Japanese version of Iron Chef. I thought I had tuned in to watch a relaxing little cooking show, when, without warning the host yelled, “Allez Cuisine”, and Morimoto savagely reached into a large bucket and began pulling out a live octopus. Water and black squid ink was splashing everywhere and the octopus was flopping around attaching its tentacles to everything they touched. After a few futile moments trying to retrieve the critter, he proceeded to grab a large cleaver and start lopping off various parts of the determined cephalopod and tossing them into a pot of boiling water. This was no cooking show! It was Friday The 13th-Chef Jason’s Revenge. It was like watching cooking, Psycho, and a zoology lecture all at the same time. After my blood pressure returned to normal and I accepted the nightmares sure to come, I became a life-long Morimoto fan. And, as the late great Paul Harvey used to say, “Now you know the rest of the story.”

  2. I bought tickets on November 9 and never received a confirmation email or tickets in the mail as indicated on the confirmation page. I have the confirmation code and they took the money out of my account so I know there wasn’t an error in processing. Any idea if they decided to have us pick up the tickets at the door instead of mailing them?

    1. Sorry, we really don’t know — you’ll probably have to contact the restaurant directly to find out for sure.
